I am excited to share that I have been awarded a grant from the Ontario Arts Council and the Province of Ontario to support my upcoming project, “Migration Continued: Land, Air & Sea.”
This grant will allow me to bring my creative vision to life and make a meaningful contribution to the arts community.
I am sincerely grateful for the support of the Ontario Arts Council and the Province of Ontario. The funding helps me continue my mission of promoting accessibility and inclusion through art, ensuring that these values remain at the heart of my work.

CCB Peterborough office exhibit
I am thrilled to announce that part of my newest exhibit, “Migration” is now gracing the walls of the Council of the Blind, Peterborough Chapter in their brand-new office at 159 King Street, Suite 206. This space is also home to the “From The Blind For The Blind” lending library of visual aids.
These pieces were created under the generous support of the Ontario Arts Council and the Province of Ontario grant. This tactile and accessible art is perfectly suited to be displayed in the Canadian Council of the Blind office. It is truly an honour to have my work featured in such an incredible space dedicated to the blind community.
Visits are by appointment only. To schedule yours, please email [email protected].

Paul's Frame & Art Gallery
In June 2019, Paul’s Frame and Art Gallery in Peterborough hosted From Dark to Discovery, a solo exhibition by Lynda Todd, a local artist known for her innovative use of acrylic pouring techniques. Despite being legally blind and partially color-blind, Todd has developed a distinctive style that incorporates vivid colors and textured layers, creating a tactile and visually engaging experience. The exhibit showcased a series of larger-scale works that marked a significant evolution in her artistic practice.
The From Dark to Discovery exhibit was well-received by the community, with an opening reception that took place on June 8, 2019, allowing visitors to meet the artist in person. Todd’s works, rich in both texture and emotion, reflect her journey of self-discovery through art, transcending the limitations of her visual impairments. The exhibit remained on display until the end of June, and Todd’s ability to communicate her visual world through her unique method of paint pouring left a lasting impression on all who attended
